There are a few more songs out in the world now.
They’ve found their way onto the website here, and into the quieter corners of social media — not with much noise, just gently placed there.
These ones have been with me for a long time.
They were written years ago, in a different season, and have been sitting just out of reach ever since. Not forgotten, exactly — more like unfinished conversations I kept returning to, picking up and putting down again.
Over the past little while, in between writing some newer songs, I found myself coming back to them late at night.
No big plan. No real intention to record anything properly.
Just playing.
But those late night sessions have a way of lowering the bar a little. Letting things be what they are. And somewhere in that space, I decided to record them — not perfectly, not polished, but honestly.
What you’ll hear in these songs is pretty close to how they arrived in the room. A bit rough around the edges. A bit worn in places. But maybe that’s part of what makes them feel true.
It’s strange, releasing songs that have lived quietly for so long. But it also feels right — like letting something finally breathe.
There are newer songs on the way too. Still taking shape, still finding their footing.
But for now, these older ones felt like they were ready to be heard.
Or at least, ready enough.
